Chris acts for institutional and property company clients along with a number of private investors. Rest assured, if you work with him you’re in very safe hands. Before setting up RY Partnership, he spent 12 years at Steadman Brierley Chartered Surveyors and Investment Consultants specialising in investment acquisition and disposal. Before this, he worked for two years at St Quintin’s, Leeds office.

Jonathan qualified from Sheffield Polytechnic in 1986 and spent 5 years with Clive Lewis & Ptnrs in London before moving to Stewart Newiss in Leeds. In 1993 he co-founded Steadman Brierley, a market leading investment practice for nearly 30 years. Jonathan has concluded sales and purchases in every sector of the market acting for a wide range of clients from individual investors, debt funded property companies to major UK Institutions including CBREIM, Abrdn and Schroders.
He has placed considerable emphasis on structured development funding and his experience allows both an innovative and flexible approach to complex real estate transactions in all market conditions.
In 2021, Jonathan joined Chris at RYRE as a consultant. Outside work hobbies include cycling, walking and Leeds United AFC.
